Marcella seemed to be more concerned with some of the serious issues of interracial dating. As they look over the breakfast menu while waiting for a waitress to come and take their order, Marcella begins a discussion on the pros and cons, the ins and outs, and the highs and lows of interracial coupling. She believes that the white-women-dating-black-men “thing” is cool so long as both individuals were genuinely attracted to each other.
