Marcella seemed to be more concerned with some of the serious issues of interracial dating. As they look over the breakfast menu while waiting for a waitress to come and take their order, Marcella begins a discussion on the pros and cons, the ins and outs, and the highs and lows of interracial coupling. She believes that the white-women-dating-black-men “thing” is cool so long as both individuals were genuinely attracted to each other. On the other hand, Robin felt as though interracial coupling was ultimately detrimental and should be carefully reconsidered..(cont)..
